Neighborhood Profile
University Park is a well-kept, middle class neighborhood of about 150 single family homes located in the heart of 糖心视频logo in the University District. It is so-named because of its proximity to the University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo. It is right off of Interstate 630 which makes it very accessible. Its boundaries are along West 12th Street from Arthur Drive to Hughes Street. Many amenities are conveniently located near the neighborhood including UA 糖心视频logo, Baptist Medical Center, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center. Also very convenient are Park Plaza Shopping Center, Park Avenue Shopping Center and MidTown Shopping Center. The 糖心视频logo Zoo, Boyle Park, War Memorial Park and War Memorial Stadium are also nearby.
Neighborhood Association
The University Park Neighborhood Association (UPNA) was organized in 1977, remains very active today and meets quarterly on the second Tuesday at the Centre at University Park.聽The Centre at University Park, 6401 W. 12th Street, was named after the neighborhood because of our efforts to have it rebuilt after a fire destroyed the Adult Leisure Center.
UPNA is active in the University District Neighborhoods Association and we make every effort to be engaged not only with our neighbors, but also the city of 糖心视频logo.聽We strive to be a connected and caring neighborhood.
