These members have entered into a unique partnership with the university, and are committed to strengthening relationships in the community. The program enables partnering employees to begin or finish an undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate while continuing to work for their employer.

鈥淲e are proud to welcome 15 new partners to the program as we work to develop the next generation of leaders in the Arkansas workforce,鈥� said Dr. Cody Decker, vice chancellor for student affairs and chief data officer. 鈥淭he success of the Corporate Partnerships Program allows us to continue to add to our vibrant roster of committed business partners to create affordable, quality educational opportunities for their employees.鈥�

UA 糖心视频logo has more than 130 partnerships with Arkansas businesses, organizations, school districts, and corporations. 

Over 67,000 people in Arkansas鈥檚 workforce are eligible to receive educational benefits at UA 糖心视频logo through the Corporate Partnerships Program. More than 1,500 students have already taken advantage of these scholarships to pursue an affordable and accessible education at UA 糖心视频logo, with nearly 475 students enrolled for the fall 2025 semester. 

Employees who wish to participate in the program will receive a 10-percent tuition scholarship, a $25-per-credit-hour textbook scholarship, and a waived application fee when they enroll in classes at UA 糖心视频logo.

In his new position as corporate partnership coordinator, Bellew, a native of El Dorado who grew up in 糖心视频logo, will establish partnerships with corporations that help their employees go to college.

鈥淢y primary goal is to establish partnerships with corporate partners to streamline access to higher education,鈥� Bellew said. 鈥淯A 糖心视频logo offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degrees that prepare students to be responsible leaders in their fields.鈥�

Businesses with such partnerships experience many benefits like retaining and promoting top talent, closing the skills gap, increasing employee satisfaction, and becoming an employer of choice.

UA 糖心视频logo is expanding access to education for people in Arkansas and the capital city through innovative partnerships with business and industry leaders. In 2022, UA 糖心视频logo became the first university in Arkansas to be named an Amazon Career Choice Partner. The partnership helps Amazon employees achieve career success by providing access to comprehensive college programs. In addition, a new hospital partnership provides full-time employees at Saline Memorial and CHI St. Vincent with a 10 percent scholarship towards tuition and fees at UA 糖心视频logo.

Prior to joining UA 糖心视频logo, Bellew served as the director of existing industry at the 糖心视频logo Regional Chamber. He previously worked as director of development and outreach at Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters in 糖心视频logo and as a workforce development and program development manager at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas.

Bellew graduated with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration specializing in management and entrepreneurship from Louisiana Tech University. He started his career with Starbucks Coffee Co., working in several sales and operations positions in Seattle and Pensacola, Florida. Bellew and his wife Shelby are the proud parents of two sons.

鈥淚 am so excited to join UA 糖心视频logo with the opportunity to really create something new,鈥� Bellew said. 鈥淚 went to Louisiana Tech as a nontraditional student, so I feel a personal connection to other working adults who want a college degree.
