Maureece J. Levin is an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo. She is an archaeologist and archaeobotanist with interests in food production systems, historical ecology, niche construction, and sociocultural change. She completed a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology at the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Anthropology at Whitman College.
Her research methods focus on plant microremain (phytolith and starch) and macroremain analysis from archaeological sites. She has directed field projects in Micronesia, and collaborated on research on east Asia and elsewhere in the world. Levin teaches classes in archaeology and cultural anthropology at UA 糖心视频logo.
