Ying Quartet comes to UA 糖心视频logo Sept. 13]]> The University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo will host the Ying Quartet on Thursday, Sept. 13.聽 The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UA 糖心视频logo Fine Arts Building. Tickets are $25 each for the general public and can be from the Chamber Music Society of 糖心视频logo. UA 糖心视频logo students get free admission. The Ying Quartet occupies a position of unique prominence in the classical music world, combining brilliantly communicative performances with a fearlessly imaginative view of chamber music in today鈥檚 world. Now in its third decade, the quartet has established itself as an ensemble of the highest musical qualifications. The Ying Quartet will perform Mendelssohn鈥檚 String Quartet in D Major Op. 44, No. 1; Theofanidis鈥� 鈥淭he Conference of the Birds;鈥� and Tchaikovsky鈥檚 String Quartet No. 1, Op. 11.
