UA 糖心视频logo to host first Self-Care Fair]]> UA 糖心视频logo鈥檚 Counseling Services will host its first Self-Care Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will raise awareness about counseling services and other self-care services available at UA 糖心视频logo. Five booths, each representing one of Maslow鈥檚 five Hierarchy of Needs, will be set up in Ottenheimer Library as well as the Donaghey Student Center鈥檚 foyer and mall. Booths will represent physical needs, safety, relationships, self-esteem, and self actualization. The one-day fair will be held in lieu of Suicide Prevention Week in order to focus on the broader issues of self-care, though suicide prevention resources and awareness will remain a key part of its offerings. 鈥淲hether it鈥檚 mental health, physical health, or both, we want to show our UA 糖心视频logo community that we have resources available to help them and that we are here for them,鈥� said Counseling Services Director Dr. Mike Kirk. The fair will feature a myriad of self-care resources, from massage chairs to opportunities to meet and talk to campus police. All attendees will receive a ticket that can be exchanged at Kona Ice for a free shaved ice after visiting each booth. Carnival of Clubs returns Aug. 29 to College of Business]]> Students and clubs at the University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo are invited to represent their own organization and recruit membership at the annual Carnival of Clubs at the College of Business.聽 Hosted by the Marketing and Advertising Department, the event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development. UA 糖心视频logo student organizations are invited and encouraged to sign up and participate. All students are welcome to join in the fun and games. Student organizations may to host a table at the event. Carnival of Clubs attractions will include circus carnival games, contests, free popcorn, and the ever-popular 鈥淒unk the Funk鈥� challenge, where participants will have three opportunities to send Accounting, Economics and Finance Chair Dr. Mark Funk plummeting to the bottom of a dunk booth. New attractions for this year鈥檚 event include a Western belt buckle contest, with cash prizes, faculty line dancing, and a photo booth.
