Human Resource Management Society earns merit award]]> 鈥淭hese chapters truly represent the future of the HR profession,鈥� said Susan Post, the society鈥檚 east divisional director and the lead for student programs. 鈥淭heir achievements go above and beyond their everyday academic and work commitments, and we applaud the positive impact their efforts have on their schools, their local communities, and beyond.鈥� The merit award program was created in 1972 to encourage ongoing excellence in the following areas: student chapter requirements, chapter operations, chapter programming and professional development of members, support of the human resource profession, and engagement. The merit award is based on the number of activities student chapters completed during the award cycle from April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2017. The UA 糖心视频logo Human Resource Management Society, which is open to all majors, offers students the opportunity for professional development and to network with human resources professionals. The faculty adviser is Dr. Susie Cox in the Department of Management. The society is affiliated with the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association as well as with the national Society for Human Resource Management.]]>
