UA 糖心视频logo Dance Harvest set for Nov. 16-19]]> Performances will be Thursday and Friday, Nov. 16-17, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2:30 p.m. in the University Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts, 5900 University Drive. Samantha Johnson and Rhythm McCarthy return as guest artists and will join new theatre arts and dance faculty member Robin Neveu Brown and associate professors Stephanie Thibeault and Stephen K. Stone for a diverse concert that spans modern, jazz, and ballet styles of dance. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children, students, seniors, military, UA 糖心视频logo faculty and staff. UALR presents Dance Harvest 2016]]> The University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo Department of Theatre Arts and Dance will host Dance Harvest 2016 Nov. 17-20.聽 Dance Harvest 2016 will feature original choreographed pieces by dance performance students and faculty from the university. This concert is a culminating event based on a four-semester series of study in dance composition that includes Improvisation and Choreography I, II, and III. The opening night performance will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, followed by a reception with cake and punch. Additional performances will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18; 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. All performances will be in the University Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts. One or two of the pieces will be selected to advance to a showing at the American College Dance Association-South Region performance in March 2017 at Auburn University.
