UA 糖心视频logo offers workshops for lifelong learning]]> The University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo鈥檚 Extended Education program is offering a series of personal and professional development workshops led by UA 糖心视频logo faculty and staff and practicing members of the community.聽 This fall鈥檚 schedule includes workshops in beekeeping, photography, teaching, book publishing, and anime. Workshops will be held at the UA 糖心视频logo Main Campus, 2801 S. University Ave., and at UA 糖心视频logo Downtown, 333 President Clinton Ave.聽 The workshops are open to the public. Ottenheimer Library to present DracoFest March 13-14]]> Celebrate a world of creativity with the University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo鈥檚 first DracoFest hosted by the Ottenheimer Library on Tuesday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 14. DracoFest will be a celebration of all things fantasy, science fiction, comic, and anime. Activities will run from 5 to 8 p.m. each day on each floor of the Ottenheimer Library. 聽 鈥淭he purpose of DracoFest is to do something out of the norm and give students a break from their classes,鈥� said Shawn Manis, operations manager for Ottenheimer Library. 鈥淚t鈥檚 going to be entertaining and fun, but students will also be able to learn something.鈥� To kick off the first night, a viewing of Game of Thrones will be held, followed by research presentations from graduate students whose topics are fantasy or sci-fi related. Other events that may occur either day include a live action role playing show, a library quest, and Pokemon Go! live at the Cooper Fountain. The anime film viewing will take place on day two of DracoFest. Faculty and staff members interested in collaborating with library employees on the event can . Workshops featuring fiction, script, and other types of writing, art, drawing, illustrating, acting, and more are welcomed. Faculty members who cannot participate in person are encouraged to assist with snacks, catering, or any other contribution.
