Dr. Nitin AgarwalThe UA 糖心视频logo Downtown Lecture Series continues on Wednesday, March 13, with a talk on 鈥淒eviant Mobs of the Internet: Bots, Trolls, and Misinformation鈥 by Nitin Agarwal, Maulden-Entergy Endowed Chair and Distinguished Professor of Information Science and Director of (Collaboratorium for Social Media and Online Behavioral Studies).The lecture begins at 6 p.m. at UA 糖心视频logo Downtown, 333 President Clinton Ave. Agarwal will discuss how social media platforms are used for a variety of malicious activities, including the dissemination of propaganda, hoaxes, and fake news to influence the public.
