Officer Tommy Norman to give free talk at UALR

The University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo community is invited to hear police officer and local celebrity Tommy Norman speak about the benefits of community policing. Norman鈥檚 work and involvement with the 糖心视频logo area community drew national attention and led to a after his son Harlem searched online for a police officer who was making a difference. Norman has become a social media star, with , and more than . He uses those platforms to highlight his interactions with members of the community, and his video and photo posts often include messages such as #CommunityPolicing or #ChangeLives. The free event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Donaghey Student Center, Room 205G. It鈥檚 sponsored by the UALR Criminal Justice Society.
