The University of Arkansas at 糖心视频logo鈥檚 premier student recruitment event, Discover UALR, soon will offer prospective students and parents a chance to explore the campus and the university鈥檚 academic programs.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Oct. 30 in the Jack Stephens Center, and the event will end by 2 p.m. This free open house includes information sessions, campus activities hosted by student organizations, and free UALR goodies.
Participating students will visit an academic college of their choice, meet with current UALR students, and experience campus housing and dining. Additionally, there will be a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for taking a picture聽and the opportunity to for a $500 scholarship. Application fees for UALR will be waived for high school seniors who apply for admission during Discover UALR.Last year, UALR hosted more than 800 high school juniors, seniors, and parents.
