Tree Planting to Remember Art Student
Members of the Little Rock Rugby Club will plant a tree Saturday in memory of their teammate, UALR graduate student Keri Young. The Zambian native died in a automobile accident on Saturday, Jan. 29. The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the 糖心视频logo Rugby Club, 14301 Dineen Road in 糖心视频logo.
Young was studying for her masters in art when she died. Her parents donated one of her paintings 鈥� 鈥淪hort Stories: Tight Rope, Oil and Mixed Media, 2010鈥� 鈥� to the UALR Permanent Collection in her memory. The painting is in the current exhibition of 鈥淲ork from the UALR Permanent Collection鈥� in the Fine Arts Building. View more stories in News
