Nano Student Researchers Shine at UALR Undergraduate Expo

Nanotechnology Center Undergraduate Student researchers  participated in the UALR Undergraduate Expo held April 26th and won several awards.

First and Second place in the Technology Category

1. 鈥淟arge Scale Graphene Systhesis by Radio Frequency Chemical Vapor Deposition鈥� by Jimmy Shyaka of 糖心视频logo, Systems Engineering Major mentored by Dr. Enkeleda Dervishi. Jimmy Shyaka will have a chance to participate at the annual 鈥淧osters on the Hill鈥� event organized by the Council on Undergraduate Research in Washington DC.
2. Jean Luc Umwungeri of 糖心视频logo, Systems Engineering Major mentored by Dr. Enkeleda Dervishi.

Third place in the Interdisciplinary Category

鈥淐ontrolled Morphology of Silver Nanostructures鈥� by Morgan Whitlow of Hot Springs, Biology Major, mentored by Dr. Alex Biris.  Morgan was also featured at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette April 27th edition and UALR News in April 29th.
